In Spite of Death
2025
5504 x 8256 px
Digital, Photography
Materials
A young mother cradles her newborn. Behind her stands a skeleton—its hollow sockets fixed on the child, a reminder of the death that stalks us all. She nurses her baby, his fragile existence defying the stillness. As she gazes into her baby’s eyes, a fierce warmth surges within her. She whispers a promise: 'We will live, in spite of you.' The skeleton remains, but its shadow seems to shrink, as if her love alone could hold the darkness at bay.

He walked the same streets, sat on the same benches, passed the same faces—but he’d become invisible. Not in the magical sense, but in the way a thought vanishes from the tongue, or a name slips into fog. People looked through him. Algorithms forgot him. Even mirrors hesitated. At first, he fought it. But silence met him each time—an eerie, dull silence. His shadow remained—but it walked behind him now, detached, as if unsure whether it belonged. It whispered things when he slept. It held his arm too tight. He began to question whether he’d ever existed enough to leave a mark. The shadow grew stronger as he faded, tethered to his back like a second self—mute, smoky, patient. One day, in the glass of a storefront, he saw only the shadow standing there, staring back.

Fire In The Mirror
2025
8160 x 10200 px

Materials
In a fractured world full of shadows, a young woman stands before a mirror. Her reflection erupts in flames—searing her mirrored defiant spirit. She knows the mirror reveals her truest self: a provocateur daring the darkness to consume her. Each glance stokes her rebellion, her image glitching like a corrupted signal, a testament to her untamed fire.
